I ordered this for the price and the produce. I have had Casio watches before and They are decent watches. I ordered it for the price and the functionality. So far so good. It looks good and solid. So far the watch gives good time. It has a Ten Year battery but if you read the fine print (which I hate) it won’t give you 10 years. It you use the lite etc any amount of time it drops down allot. But, so what, it still is better then getting a new battery every 6 mo., to a year. This is a solid watch. It is not to impress but to use. I watched the price and got it when it was a buck cheaper, big deal but why waste the buck. You get what you pay for and what do you want from a watch but to tell you the time. Probably a watch will go the way of others as cell phones etc can give you the time. But I like this and will buy it again so far.

I recently purchased the Timex Ironman 100-lap resin strap watch #T5F591 that came with a velcro strap. I got so confused trying to get what I wanted among the dozens of slight variations I got bleary eyed by the time it came to check out. I must say I got most of what i wanted and the problem wasnt getting too little; but getting more than I need. This one cost less. It has more timers and can do more laps than I will do before the battery runs out. But I must say it was no problem setting it all up. I just tossed out another Timex that only lasted a year before the battery quit- blank screen. I believe it was due to the push buttons getting stuck in and ran the battery out in a day or so; the indiglo is tough to see in some conditions. The watch I had was easy to read and this T5F591 is easier to read with slightly bigger numbers and much easier to set and the last one the T5C291 or 591 had a much smaller screen and cost 20% more. I can not figure out what goes into the valuation of these products. I have gotten Timex watches for decades (4) and they usually just keep on going I get tired of it and get a new one while the last one still works. The last one is the first time it stopped before i was ready to get rid of it. I got the atlantis model prior to Ironman and was happy with then and still have one from the 80s. I mostly enjoy the larger numbers on this one and the velcro strap is actually welcome and noted in one of the production notes on this T5F591 even though the header said resin in another spot.This was my first online watch purchase because I had concerns about the band being long enough. I have very large wrists and some bands will not fit the T5C only on the last hole and metal bracelets do not fit. I find that the velcro strap is nearly as long as the one which actually comes with the timex ‘long’ band resin standard. So, all ended well. If Timex made the descriptions more accurate or pointed out what made watches that seem to spec out as equal in features be double the cost. The charts seemed to be generic and not match the watch they were associated with. In person it would have been a 10minute purchase; on line it took forever trying to make sure I got what I was looking for-as a long time timex customer and knew what features I wanted

Finally I get the clock after a long wait, with the same despite having just two weeks in, I must say that what they say matches with other users of the product, the strap looks a little fragile in the short break term, I do not understand that Timex misses this detail, another downside is the Light electroluminiscense, this does not illuminate with modelosbde much intensity as the other brands (it is very weak when there is moderate light). Otherwise, so far it seems all right, so I give you a 4.

5 Stars The Perfect Watch for Me
I do long distance ocean sailing and need a watch that I can read clearly in all light conditions and with which I can change from interval timer to alarm clock in the dark; lifesaving practices in the ocean. I bought a Suunto Vector, very expensive, and it was terrible for my needs. I bought this inexpensive Timex and it has served me flawlessly for many thousands of miles in all weather conditions. Large numbers, bright screen, easy to learn to use and comfortable band. The yellow coloring makes it easy to find amongst other gear when not being worn.

This collection of diver watch is all mechanical. What this means is that it runs on the spring of the watch. When the diver watch is worn, it will automatically store power in the spring. Hence the name, automatic watches.
The dial for this watch comes with both day and date indicators located at the 3 o’clock position. The day indicator is adjusted by unscrewing the push-button, located on the 2 o’clock position, and pushing the button for the specific day. The date indicator is adjusted by the crown (time-setting piece) located on the 3 o’clock position.
This watch has a two-level crown which adjusts both the time and the date. The 1st level corresponds to the time while the 2nd level corresponds to the date. To adjust either level, you must first loosen the screw-down crown. The purpose of a screw-down crown is so that water does not enter the case. Not only does the crown have shoulders for added protection, but it also has the official orient logo engraved on the crown.
Another attribute that adds to the value of this watch is its unidirectional bezel. The purpose of this feature is so that you can adjust the time bezel to the minute hand to see how many minutes have gone by. The time hands, as well as the hour indicators, are both luminescent. This allows for the owner to view the time during the evening.
The band for this series comes in either stainless steel metal or black urethane. In the metal band variation, the links come in matte finish. You will notice the double-locking clasp and how it gives added protection so that the watch does not come off inadvertently. Unlike the metal band, the urethane variation comes in a deployment clasp.
Since this collection is so popular, Orient offers a total of 8 variations to this watch: 4 with metal bands and 4 with urethane bands. Within the metal bands, there are different dial and bezel colors: black dial on black bezel, blue dial on blue bezel, blue dial on blue/orange bezel, and orange dial on black bezel. I chose the next-day shipping option. The watch arrived on time and undamaged, though under-packaged (you coulda used more stuffing in the box, Amazon).Amazon charged me the correct amount for the watch(they seem honest) The watch appears well made. It has a really good heft. It is rated to 200 meters-but isn’t reccomended for scuba diving…interesting. I am an active person. The watch lost 2 minutes in the first month that I wore it. Most automatics gain or lose time. I bought this watch because watch collectors described it as bombproof,running reliably for a long time without batteries and without service…one month down, thirty years or so to go.

5 Stars Just try to find a better a watch for the price
For two years resetting the time on my automatic Seiko had become a tiresome weekly ritual. Some friends at a watch collectors forum introduced me this watch, so I took a chance and ordered it. When it arrived I was amazed by its heft and finish, especially considering it’s price. So far, the accuracy has been outstanding.
I purchased the watch from Long Island Watch, an authorized dealer, the watch arrived quickly, with all the warranty materials.
Another Orient will be on my wish list soon.

When I read the reviews for this product before purchasing it, I thought well I’ll give it a try. The most common problem listed in the reviews were that of the band. How minor I thought, in which it can be changed out with little cost or hassle. Well, don’t worry. The inside of the band is black leather, while the outside a handsomely stitched green nylon appearance with the rivetted buckling holes. Sure it asorbs water, but within 20-30 minutes its dry!
I haven’t taken it off since it arrived. No problem with oder. Tells time perfectly. Yet, stylish enough for a man, but yet low key as not to draw attention to it. Good point, considering, I work and play downtown.
Overall, 5 Stars. Excellent craftsmanship and good solid quality material.
5 Stars Finally got an EcoDrive!
I bought this watch sight unseen, and was very pleasantly surprised: perfect size, thickness and weight for my taste. It works great, no problems. Second had lines up with the tic marks reasonably well. Always seems fully charged. Band was uncomfortable and I swapped it for a black flex band, which looks great and feels much better. The night glow feature is very bright after exposure to a lamp, but fades a lot after several hours.

This is a very nice watch for the bucks. The band is horrible. Purchase the Men’s Rubbertech (TM) Silicone Rubber Watchband and get rid of the original. The combo is then bullet proof. It keeps great time and has an understated elegance to it.

Only thing I observed: I bought it for a month now. I calibrated it according to Internet time. It has become a few seconds ahead. I will need to see if it gets worse over time.
Other than the above point, I am very satisfied. I like the following features: canvas band, large number on the dials and glows in dark, date and day of week, good looking and above all, no battery replacement required. Thanks to all other reviewers that posted the well-shot pictures. They helped me a lot when I was doing product research.
Bottom line: nice watch, worth giving it a try.
5 Stars Good for the ladies too
I’ve had this watch for about a month now and I love it!! It says men’s but I am a woman with a fairly thin wrist and it fits great. My favorite part, since I’m a Spanish teacher, is that you can choose to have the days listed in Spanish or English! Some people complain about washing hands and the canvas strap: just don’t get it in the water, people! It is simultaneously elegant and sporty; I’ve worn it with dresses and jeans and a t-shirt and it didn’t look out of place on either occasion. Totally worth the money when you consider that you will NEVER have to replace a battery!

I’ve had this for almost a month now and purchased through Amazon.
For the money, I am very well impressed with the watch. I wasn;t familiar with mechanical, and this is my first experience with them. I’m very content with the purchase and all the reviews helped with my decision.
It is cheap, but from what I feel, it is quality for the price point.
And yes the watch itself is very substantial, as mentioned on other reviews.

I am not much of a watch expert but I like the looks of this watch and for $90.00 I am very satisfied. It does seem to gain 20 to 30 seconds a day but otherwise works well.

Finally got the 8926C. Have been wearing it since I got it last Thursday, could not be any happier with this watch. Also bought the 8926 but it just cannot compare with the 8926C. At this time, its value for money.

I’m an engineer nurd so, as you might expect, I’m really picky about tools
and equipment. This Casio watch rates 5 out of 5 as far as I’m concerned.
It beats the heck out of a similar Timex (although my Father retired from
Timex). The following features are excellent: screen display, compass, thermometer, stopwatch, light, barometer, timekeeping accuracy and ease of setup and use. The altimeter seems flaky but, in all fairness, I haven’t really tried it out. I’m looking forward to a casio automobile!!

5 Stars I am a happy camper to have this…
Casio Men’s Pathfinder Triple Sensor Altimeter/Barometer/ Digital Compass Green Watch #PAG40-3V is a great instrument to have if you are a seasoned camper like me. I am a trekking enthusiast and like most trekkers know how to use instruments to my advantage and find my way to the destination…To this, I must admit, I was fairly surprised by the accuracy that PAG40-3V brings to the table. This watch gives fairly accurate readings for altitude, temperature, direction, atmospheric pressure etc. I read some negative reviews about people not being able to get accurate readings…I respectfully disagree. I have tested altimeter, barometer, thermometer and compass (which, I believe, are the four chief selling points of the watch) and, as I already said, the readings showed tolerably least or most of the times no deviation from actuals. All in all, a great piece.
One more thing. I tried Suunto (almost settled for X-Lander) and Timex offering similar features before I bought this. I was surprised to see that compared to Suunto (which is relatively expensive) this watch offered same performance in lesser price. I will miss “Tough Solar”, but it doesn’t hold me back from declaring pride in my new possession.
I plan to use this watch for Trekking in Laddakh towards the end of this year. This will be the litmus test and I am fairly confident (on the basis of extensive lab testing I already performed to see how good this piece of work will hold when I am out there) it’ll rise to meet my expectations with flying colors.

I purchased the Casio #PAG40-3V for my son. He will be deployed to Afganistan in April 09′ with the 82nd Airborne. I believe the watch will come in handy for LanNav, mountain terrain…etc.
I also got one for myself for hiking, outdoors activities. This watch has a “learning curve”, it must be calibrated, to get a “true” temperature you must remove it from your wrist. Seems rugged, Water resistant 100m (give or take 50m),keeps good time, lots of features, all for $125.00. Good Buy

Although it took me some time to get used to all the functions, this clock works great. The users manual teaches you exactly how to get the most accurate readings, but a quick preview of the sensors is usually enough. Never tested it in the extreme conditions it says it can handle, but in the above-normal ones still works great.

All of this for ONLY $20 each?!
WOW! I received both watches today - I bought both the AW80V-5BV (Brown with velcro wrist band) and the AW80V-7AV (White dial with black rubber? wrist band).
When unpacking them I was not surprised to see the watches looking pretty much like they showed on Amazon.com pictures. When I put each one of them on I was very pleasantly surprised at how much better they even looked when I put them on! Who knows, I have beautiful wrists?!… Seriously, I am very happy with the looks and would’ve thought they cost more if I’ve seen someone else wear them.
Talking about pricing this watch is a steal! I say again “all this for only $20?!” That’s unbelievable! I am going back to check for other colors! I may be wearing a different watch every day just to match the color of my shirts!
Oh, the analog dial of both models is sooo easy to read! The digital display?… I can read it easily from many feets away!
The light is pretty bright! Who says it is not? I don’t see myself using it often though… Who wants a light on their watch? Certainly not me! If I am in the dark, the last thing I want to know about is the time - there are more interesting things to do in the dark 
- unless, of course, I was some kind of a special forces commando, or was in some kind of trouble, etc..
SETUP - It was very easy, simple and logical! (Of course, I’m a genious too, besides having beautiful wrists). Seriously, after I adjusted the first one - it took only a few short minutes - by following the simple instructions in the manual, I did the second one without going to the instructions and, believe me, I am the type that would always prefer to have things done and ready, zero-setup type and it was NOT a pain, even for me.
Well, that’s it! I recommend it.
SUMMARY: Excellent timekeeping device with expensive features, great looking watch - looks more expensive than it is!

This is the second watch that I have purchased recently. The first, a Casio Pathfinder (Fisherman’s Addition). I like the Pathfinder, however,It has a rather higher profile than does the World Time Database. That is the reason why I purchased (World Time Database Watch). This is the watch(World Time Database)I prefer over the Pathfinder for every day use….I do like both watches…..

This is a great watch with many features. I love that it is both analog and digital. I prefer to tell time in analog but frequently use the digital features like alarms and countdown timer. The only downside to this watch is the light. It doesn’t illuminate the digital panel, only the analog hands. If this watch had an indiglow style light so the digital functions were visible, it would get five stars.

If you’re looking for a light weight, easily read watch, this is the one. I was amazed on how light it feels on your wrist. The large screen and numbers make it a welcome addition to your running gear. The band is resin and there is a nice addition to keep the end was flopping around. The is a hole at the end of the strap and the movable strap retainer has a corresponding knob on the inside that locks the strap end in place so it doesn’t flop around, great idea! You’ll enjoy this product.

4 Stars Timex Men’s Ironman 100-Lap FLIX System Watch #T5E231
This is my second time I purchased this model Timex watch. I never take it off and it takes a lot of abuse. After 3 years the one strap broke but I believe i caught if on something very sharp to have that happen. I purchased it again because I liked the overall performance and functionality and although I have had a couple issues with the crono start/stop buttons, I prefer it enough to but it again.

The band let loose from the watch the first day I got it. Amazon had a new one to me the next day!! The new watch has been working great, no band problems. I keep hitting the button that changes the time zones, slight problem. It looks good, great for taking many splits and saving them.

I was in need of a watch so I could keep track of my miles and I was wanting to get one that would last a good while and hopefully be able to wear it around as a casual watch. This watch did this and so much more. The fact that it has a lab memory is very useful, much more useful than I thought it would be. Flix is nice but I find that I rarely use it. The watch face is rather big but you get accustomed to it rather quickly and find it nice now. It is very scratch resistan and it has survived me swimming, camping and many miles of running. A very excellent watch.

4 Stars Impressive Watch
I was looking for a new watch for awhile now, and centered in on this Invicta Pro Diver mostly because of its looks. In looking for watches I came across the Rolex Submariner, and fell in love with it, yet did not have 4 to 5 thousand dollars to spend. Yet, looking around I came across this watch and it looks almost identical. The major difference is the bezel which looks more like an Omega Seamaster(another great watch). I immediatly loved the price of this watch, which by my calculations is about 50 times less than the Rolex Submariner, yes 50 times less! That fact alone makes this watch a steal, although probably the Rolex is tremendously overpriced. You of course are sacrificing quality at this price, but in no way whatsoever would I say the Rolex has 50 times more quality than this watch.
So I bought the Invicta for $86(although its $80 now, so I guess the price goes up and down on occasion), and it came about a week later. It comes in a beautiful yellow box, and looks like your getting a $1000 watch by the packaging. Taking it out the band was way too big for my wrist, but I managed to remove the links without too much trouble. Once I got it on my wrist it looked very nice. I was worried it might be too big, since I have a smaller wrist, but it was not too big. Its a tad on the heavy side, if you are used to standard quartz watches, but I became used to it quickly. I like the weight and feel of it, it truly is a ‘mans’ watch. It also is quite shiny, and but I don’t think its too showy to be offputting. I think it goes nice with casual as well as dressy clothes, its an all-purpose watch.
I wanted to address some complaints I’ve read about the watch in various reviews:
Invicta Engraving: the biggest problem with its looks is the ‘invicta’ engraved on the left side of the case. Its definitely not needed and makes it look a little cheap. I wish Invicta would get rid of that styling if it ever updates this watch.
Date Magnifier: while not Rolex magnification, its fine and I think it looks nice and respectable, I have no problem with it
Shiny Middle Links: the band has the middle part of it shiny and the rest of it brushed metal. Its hard to tell it in the pictures, and I’ve found hard to tell in real life as well. Its not overbearing, and I don’t mind it. It makes it look nicer if anything, the shiny middle making it look more expensive.
Bezel: It is very hard to move, at least at first. I’ve not tried to move it much so maybe it breaks in more. I think its a none issue though, since how many times does one actually move the bezel? I guess if you really were using it for diving it might give you a problem, but I guess most guys buying this watch have never and will never go actual diving in their life.
Movement: this is probably what the most complaints about the watch come from. It is an automatic movement, thus you don’t need a battery and it is powered by your arm movement. Inherient in that is that it won’t be the most accurate watch in the world, not even close to what your $8 wal-mart quartz watch will be. It also needs to be worn probably once a day(maybe you could get away with two days) or it will stop and you will have to manually wind it and reset the time. This could be a problem if you don’t wear the watch much, and don’t want to invest in an expensive watch winder. Yet, to me the automatic movement is not about accuracy, but its a throwback to another time. I like its eccentricities and how its more like a living thing then the quartz watch. It has a fairly smooth second hand which I love watching as opposed to the quartz slow tick. It also has a nice consistent sound that you can hear if you hold it up to your ear. I’ve not found it to be loud at all either, which I’ve read some people complain about. Overall I love the automatic movement, and can live with the slight innaccuracy in time. I’ve had it a week and its been about 3 minutes fast so far, but I’ve heard watches tend to break in once you wear them awhile and get more accurate. If it gets down to 1 minute fast a week, thats nothing. It takes 10 seconds to move it back a minute a week, and having the lovely automatic movement more than makes up for that ever so slight inconvenience.
Overall I love this watch and recommend it, although its not perfect, its the cheapest higher quality watch you can get that gives you that Rolex Submariner look, which is what I wanted. It also has the nice automatic movement which I love. Hey, for around $80, how can you go wrong.
